Math Leadership Cohort
School Leaders from Community School Districts 27, 28, and 29 will participate in a series of Professional Learning (PL) sessions specifically designed to develop their leadership capacities in the areas of assessment, student agency, teacher teams, and writing across the content areas. As a result of their participation in the PL sessions, school leaders will craft a presentation and create a portfolio that chronicles the implementation of school level strategies and activities designed to improve leadership and teacher capacity, and student performance in mathematics.

The ET Mathematics Moodle Virtual Learning Environment site (VLE) was specifically created to support the learning needs of our students and the pedagogical styles of our teachers in the area of mathematics. ET Mathematics has been designed with the understanding that teachers need prompt feedback of the performance and progress of their students in order to design intervention activities that will support the intellectual growth of their students. Currently, the site has been tailored to assist teachers and support students prepare for the New York State Regents exams in mathematics. ET Mathematics’ Item Analysis tool allows both teachers and students to instantaneously identify areas of need and ET Mathematics extensive category of mathematics questions aligned to our New York State performance indicators afford teachers the flexibility to manually or randomly generate questions to meet the current need of their students. Our courses are open to all our students and we encourage our students to enroll in their appropriate mathematics course.
